About Us

Locally, at Mid-Iowa Machine, we are a full service machine shop. We do all things machining, welding and fabrication. With backgrounds in ag, machining and metal fab, we are pretty good at working on just about anything, from well drilling rigs and bulldozers to tiny machined parts and everything in between.

As an aside to the repair and job shop business, we started making and selling our woolly snap caps back in 2009 and each year we just sell more and more. A few years later, we came out with the simple stainless thumbscrew for the MEC reloaders. Plus, there are other products in the works that will most likely be talked about in "The Blog" and eventually be for sale on the site.
